The Challenge
Gaël Monfils is one of the most iconic figures in world tennis. Beyond his achievements on court, he has become a unique personality, admired for his charisma, creativity and unmistakable style.
The goal of this documentary was to capture that unique character. During his Oceanian tour in early 2025, we followed Gaël Monfils across Australia and New Zealand to tell not only the story of a world-class athlete, but also the man behind the player.
Our Approach
We chose an immersive documentary approach, following Gaël Monfils throughout his Oceanian tour. Our goal was to capture authentic moments, both on and off the court, revealing the intensity of elite competition alongside the personality behind the athlete.
Over three weeks of filming across Australia and New Zealand, we sought to capture the energy of the tour and the unique connection Monfils shares with fans wherever he plays.
